Communities to campaign against lowering drink driving limit

It’s “all over” for rural pubs and life in villages and small towns around Co Galway and elsewhere if Minister Shane Ross further reduces the legal drink driving limit. That’s the view of Monivea publican Padraic McGann who is calling for a campaign to stop the proposal progressing.
He says that while those in major towns and cities have the luxury of getting a taxi home this is not the situation in country areas.
