Dolores film tops at celtic film awards

The RTE documentary on Caherlistrane singer Dolores Keane, A Storm in the Heart, won the Celtic Media Festival’s Best Arts Programme Torc of Excellence Award 2015 in Inverness, Scotland at the weekend.
The documentary made by Liam McGrath of Scratch Films for RTE was the eventual winner in a tough category at the festival. This category also contained strong entries from BBC Scotland and BBC Wales, the latter entering a film which featured international singing star Tom Jones.
Dolores told The Tuam Herald that she had a dream the night before the award that she was watching TV and the newsreader announced that the film had won.
