A TUAM man who has spent the past 29 years in the States has been awarded a prestigious honour following an illustrious career as one of the country’s top hair stylists.
Robert Quinn, who is originally from Brownsgrove, left Ireland in 1984 and has spent the past three decades building a successful salon business alongside his wife Margaret (nee Murphy) who is from Grange in Turloughmore.
The couple’s Zolton’s salon has been selected as Salon of the Year by the North America Hairdresser Association, which Robert says is the beauty industry’s equivalent of the Oscars.
