Johnny mcevoy is back with new album

ONE of Ireland’s foremost Folk stars, Johnny McEvoy, who has been on the scene since the mid-1960s, has been absent from the recording scene for the past three years is back with a new album on a new label and a selection of news songs plus some refreshingly sounding re-recordings of a few of his earlier hits.
One of the best new compositions from Johnny is a Country-flavoured Folk song titled Spend a Time With You which has lyrics that refer to changes in life and times since the era when he started out in the business over 50 years ago. It’s a love song with a strong thought-provoking message.
