Health care assistants graduate

HEALTH care assistants were awarded with FETAC Level 5 Health Service Skills Certificates at a graduation and award ceremony at Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe. Margaret Burke, Specialist Co-ordinator Centre of Nursing & Midwifery Education, congratulated the health care assistants and their families on the achievement of their awards. Margaret highlighted that, 'our focus is always on the patient and we should always have an awareness of the need to support them on their care journey.' Certificates were presented to 50 participants who successfully completed the Occupational First Aid Module, FETAC Level 5.
