Cortoon return to Senior ranks

FOLLOWING a two-year stint away from Senior Football Championship, Cortoon Shamrocks will once again dine at the top table in Galway after injury-time points from David Warde and Peter Finnerty proved the game-breaking scores and settled a thrilling and highly controversial Intermediate final with Kilkerrin-Clonberne that finished with three players dismissed in injury-time.
Gaelic football, like in all elite level of sport, is a bottom-line business but it was a finale that produced the day's biggest talking point.
