THE WEATHER gods did their utmost to delay the start of this year's Connacht Post Primary Senior A Football Championship, but it failed to deter St Jarlath's who turned into an impressive attacking display against St Attracta's, Tubbercurry on Monday evening.
Bottom line, Jarlath's took their chances in an entertaining refixture and now move on to a semi-final with league winners, St Gerald’s, Castlebar on Wednesday, February 27. Holders Rice College, Westport saw off Ballinrobe Community School to earn a crack at league runners-up, St Colman’s, Claremorris in the last four.
