Annaghdown's Damien Comer and Kieran Fitzgerald for Corofin get personal.

Corofin march on in rude health

Corofin 0-12
Annaghdown 0-8

FOLLOWING Sunday's impressive show of strength in their semi-final dismissal of Annaghdown, Corofin will now carry the mantle of raging hot favourites into next weekend's decider against Mountbellew-Moylough.
A small handful of sides have come close to halting their dominance locally, Annaghdown one of them in the corresponding fixture 12 months ago, but the reigning champions played as if that was a wrong they wanted to right and confirm to both their challengers and all and sundry that they're not about to let their lofty standards slip.
They certainly did that on Sunday. Four points was the final margin but Corofin's superiority was far more pronounced, even if Annaghdown were left to rue a series of first half scoring opportunities that went untaken.
