Milltown cousins help provide weekly meals to homeless in lockdown
A MILLTOWN man and his cousin have raised over €2,300 in three days to support their ongoing efforts to feed homeless people in Galway throughout the lockdown.
Eddie, 21, and 22-year-old Grace Sheridan launched the Sheridan’s 52 Club last Saturday, to support the work they and Eddie’s father Cathal have been doing in recent months, in conjunction with COPE Galway.
Every Tuesday since October, the family have delivered 28 meals to the Glenoaks Hotel in Galway city, from where COPE distributes the food to homeless clients.
