Tuam’s O’Rourke clan aim to claim title of Ireland’s Fittest Family
ONE of Tuam’s most popular sporting families will take to the small screen this weekend as they bid to become Ireland’s Fittest Family.
The popular RTE reality series returns on Sunday evening with the O’Rourkes from the Old Road in Tuam among the families vying to be selected by one of the four coaches, Davy Fitzgerald, Dervla O’Rourke, Anna Geary and Donnacha O’Callaghan.
Tuam-Cortoon Football Club players Aoife and Fiona, along with big brother Dara, who lines out on the Tuam Stars senior team and fire fighter dad Tomás have made it through to the show a year after they were originally chosen to take part.
