Planning sought for new Tuam Residential Care Centre

A PLANNING application for the new HSE multi-million residential care centre in Tuam has been lodged with Galway County Council.
The two-storey, 50-bed development will replace the existing Community Nursing Unit at Aras Mhuire. The centre is earmarked for a greenfield site on Sean Purcell Road between the Ambulance Base and the Primary Care Centre.
The contemporary building will provide much needed modernised services for those in need of residential care and their families in the North Galway region.
