Council plans to build an extra 40 homes in Tuam Tirboy estate

INVESTMENT in social housing in Tuam is to reach €15 million with the announcement that 40 new homes for the elderly and disabled are to be built in Tirboy.
The matter was raised at this week’s council meeting where Director of Services Michael Owen told members that an application to the Department of Housing for the development had been approved.
