Report suspicious activity to Tuam Garda Station.

TWO houses in one area of Tuam were targeted by thieves on Wednesday April 10.

A home on the Ballymote Road in Tuam was broken into between 10am and 3pm. Cash and a large amount of jewellery was taken in the course of the burglary.

Jewellery taken included a gold chain with a Claddagh medallion, a gold ring with a square blue stone, a gold chain with a medallion of Our Lady of Knock, another gold chain with a St Christopher medallion, a gold charm bracelet with a pig and a heart charm, another gold charm bracelet with horse shoe charms, and a gold rope chain.

Some of these items are distinctive, and if anyone has information on them or on the burglary they are asked to contact Garda Deborah Gillespie at Tuam Garda Station, 093 70840.
