TUAM woman Ethna Lynch will be hoping for a big win when she appears on the TV game show Winning Streak this Saturday night (April 6).

Ethna from Bodane has been married to Pauric for 41 years and they have three children: Caroline, Susan and Alan. Caroline and Susan will be travelling to Dublin to cheer on their mammy while Alan will be viewing online from his home in Perth in Australia.
Ethna, who works with Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board, was watching Winning Streak last week with her two granddaughters, Amy and Shannon, and joked that her name was going to be drawn out. No sooner had she made the joke when presenter Sinead Kennedy called out Ethna’s name!
Her granddaughters were jumping around the room in celebration and Ethna was initially dumbstruck and didn’t believe she had heard it right.
Ethna says she hasn’t any firm plans for her winnings as yet but that she will share with her family. A holiday and some improvement are among the ideas for the winnings she takes home.
Winning Streak is on RTE One at 7.30pm on Saturday night.
