BAKING seems to come naturally to a Tuam student whose talents have secured her a place among seven finalists in the country who are bidding to win a national All-Ireland Bake-Off title.

Seventeen-year-old Lora Dimitrova from Cahergal impressed judges with her family inspired decorative tree trunk. The 5th year student at Presentation College in Tuam has to recreate it from scratch in just three hours this Friday.
