WATCH: Tuam soprano hits the high note in live donkey duet

THE old adage of never performing with children or animals didn’t deter Tuam singer Orla Tighe this week as she sang for millions of TV
viewers from a field in Connemara.
Orla (nee Kealy) was booked to accompany Harriet, a singing donkey who has become an internet sensation in recent weeks through a YouTube video that captures her unique sound.
Answering the call from the producers of ITV’s This Morning show, Orla agreed to travel to Bealandangan, near Carraroe, on Monday morning to sing alongside Harriet for a live link up with the daytime chat show.
However, live television didn’t seem to suit the ass who chose to remain silent when the cameras rolled on Monday morning.
