Ambitious multi-sports arena unveiled as site confirmed ahead of planning stage

A PLANNING application for a new community multi-sports arena in Tuam is being finalised following an agreement with a local landowner to secure a 30-acre site for the facility.
The project is being developed by We Are Tuam, which formed earlier this year to provide facilities for three local sports clubs -- Tuam Athletics, Tuam Camogie and Tuam Cortoon Ladies Football. The three clubs have a combined membership of 1,000 but have no track or pitches of their own.
