Athenry group argues for retention of ‘vital’ rail link to Tuam

AS support for the Quiet Man Greenway campaign grows throughout the region, a group based in Athenry have called for priority to be given to reinstating rail services along the Tuam to Athenry line.
FLAG, Future Looking Athenry Group, has released a statement where they are calling for the government’s Rail Review to be completed before any action is taken in progressing a greenway proposal alongside the Western Rail Corridor from Athenry to Milltown.
