Multi-million sports complex gets important national and local support

TAOISEACH Leo Varadkar, Sports Minister Brendan Griffin and CEO of Galway County Council Kevin Kelly have all reacted positively towards the plan to establish a major community sports facility in Tuam.

The proposal was also presented to the CEO of Sport Ireland, John Treacy, at a meeting in Dublin attended by world-famous former athlete Seb Coe who has already pledged his support for the project.
Discussions are ongoing regarding identifying a suitable site for the multi-million-euro development and this is due to be finalised by the end of the summer.
