THE Tuam Cathedral Choir launched its debut CD A Christmas Blessing in the Cathedral of the Assumption on Sunday evening December 2.

The carols on the CD were recorded in the Cathedral during January and February 2018.

The launch of A Christmas Blessing marks a new departure for the choir into the world of recording.

Guest soloists and musicians joined the choir for this recording of both traditional and contemporary carols.

Tuam native and tenor Eoin Hynes accompanied the choir for their recording of the much-loved classic ‘O Holy Night.’
