Headford bale house attracts media attention, but no buyer yet

By SIOBHÃÂN HOLLIMAN The property has been pitched towards someone with fishing interests given its proximity to Lough Corrib and the possibility of having a boat on the river close to the house. It's understood that the owners are involved in the construction industry and have been building one-off houses for clients. This house, Gortbrack Bridge House, was a property they built and decided to sell themselves but unfortunately they haven't been successful in finding a buyer. It seems when the father of one of the owners couldn't find a suitable place to store his sheeps' winter hay, the vacant house was an ideal solution. While the near-complete house has a guide price tag of €600,000, it's believed that offers below the property boom figure would now be considered.
