Learn about Marxism in Galway

A DAY-SCHOOL in revolutionary politics will be held at the Imperial Hotel, Eyre Square, Galway on Saturday, February 2, from 11 am to 6 pm. Two lectures in the morning are The Crisis of Capitalism by Brian O'Boyle (economist, NUIG, 11-12:15) and Marxism and the Climate Crisis by John Molyneux (author and editor of the Irish Marxist Review, 12:30-1:45).[private] A break for lunch will be followed by The Fight for a Woman's Right to Choose by Sinéad Kennedy (lecturer, NUIM, 2:45-4 pm) and the day will finish with The Way Forward for the Left in Ireland by Kieran Allen (sociologist, UCD, 4:30-6pm). Admission is free.
