Tuam Chamber News
Happy Hallowe'en to everyone, we hope you're having a frightfully wicked time today. On Saturday we will be hosting and end of Hallowe'en fun day out in Tuam where everyone is welcome to get rid of their old pumpkins. A Spooky Costume parade will start at Tuam Shopping Centre (gather from 1 pm, starts at 1.30 pm) and finish at the Square. All kids and their parents (and everyone) are invited to get dressed up and come along. Bring your old pumpkin head to place in the pumpkin pyramid in the square. As well as this you may get a chance to lock your parents in the stocks. There will also be other fun and games, a certificate and goody bag for everyone putting their pumpkin on the pyramid. Details of all events over Halloween are elsewhere in this edition of The Tuam Herald, from our office 093 42220 and our Facebook page. On another matter, any Chamber of Commerce member shops that have cashed shopping vouchers, please drop them to the office to get them redeemed. The winner of the €100 like our page at Facebook competition is Miss Shannon Lee Hoodswain. It's nearly Christmas Lights Time again so anybody looking to get involved in helping out with planning events to liven up the town around the Christmas please get in touch. Any ideas from any quarter are welcomed. Remember you can contact our office at 093 42220.
