Next time it's prison, Judge warns Pole

A SOLICITOR was instructed to tell his client in his best Polish that if he appeared before Tuam Court on a third public order charge he would be going to prison. Robert Kazor, 102 Cois na hAbhainn, Tuam was charged with public order offences arising out of an incident at High Street, Tuam on December 8.[private] The Court was told Kazor was standing outside Boyle Sports at 3 pm in a very intoxicated condition. He was staring at members of the public in a threatening manner. Gardai instructed him to leave the area but he took no heed of them. He made threatening gestures towards the Gardai and was arrested. When Judge Brown was told Kazor had been before Tuam Court in November and was fined €250 for a similar public order offence, he said twice in one month was worrying. Imposing another fine of €250 he told defending solicitor James Glynn: 'tell him in your best Polish that he's going to prison the next time.' [/private]
