Irish designer Matt Doody will headline Glamour at the g

THE Kerry man known for his ability to inject glamour into the style of Irish celebrities, Matt Doody, will headline a sensational evening of fashion at the g Hotel in Galway in May. Matt's captivating designs were worn by Kathryn Thomas and of course that gorgeous dusty pink gown worn by Amy Huberman when she picked up an IFTA this. The event will help raise funds for Cancer Care West, NBCRI and ISPCC. Apart from Matt's collection, audiences will enjoy a selection from Galway's boutiques and fashion houses. Creative headpieces by milliners Suzi Mahony and Emily Jean Designs are also set to stun. The evening begins with a pink Prosecco and canapés reception, ahead of the fashion extravaganza. 'Having raised over €15,000 for the three charities last year, we are thrilled to host Glamour at the g for a second year. With acclaimed designer Matt Doody headlining the event and designer fashion from local boutiques, it promises to be a spectacular event. Guests can enjoy an evening of fashion and glamour, while supporting three very worthy charity organisations in the process,' says Damien O' Riordan, General Manager of the g Hotel. Tickets priced €65 and are available directly from each of the charities and you can visit www.theghotel.ie or call 091-865200 for additional details.
