Raise funds and walk off the turkey on St Stephen's Day

IF YOU'RE looking for a way to shake off the Christmas cobwebs, and help work off your turkey dinner, the Menlo branch of Ability West is holding a fun five-mile walk on Stephen's Day starting at 12 pm from Scoil Bhride, Menlo. This event has been growing in popularity since its inception four years ago. It is a great chance to walk around the lovely village of Menlo while at the same time making new friends, enjoying the chat, and finishing up with some refreshments in ÃƒÂras Pobail Menlo after the walk . There is an entry charge of Ã¢â€šÂ¬10 per person or Ã¢â€šÂ¬25 per family, all proceeds go towards the great services provided by AbilityWest to children and adults with an intellectual disability throughout Galway City and County.
