BELFAST'S Odyssey Arena will rock to the thunder and lightning of professional heavyweight boxing this weekend when the giant Tyson Fury â€â€ the man with a Tuam background â€â€ takes on a highly rated American opponent, Kevin 'Kingpin' Johnson. Fury, all 6ft 9ins and 18 stone of him, says he'll win so that Christmas will come early for his fans. This main event on the Hennessy Sports promotion will be shown live on Channel 5 on Saturday night. Tyson Fury's father Gypsy John Furey was born in Tuam. Emigration eventually took him to Manchester where his now-famous son was born.
