Local students among GMIT scholarship awards

GALWAY-MAYO Institute of Technology (GMIT) this year awarded scholarships worth €67,000 to some 21 first year students in the college. Ten of the students received Academic Scholarships for having the highest points in the Leaving Certificate in their respective area of study in GMIT.
