Some voting stations changed

THE venues for voting at some locations in the forthcoming referendum have been changed, says Marian Chambers Higgins, Returning Officer. The changes are as follows: Galway East:â€Ë†Eyrecourt, from the Social Service Centre to the National School; Ballymacward, From the Parish Hall to the [private]National School; Killian, The National School in Killian (Newbridge) is now closed and the voting will take place in Ballaghlea NS in the same area and approx one mile away; Portumna, From the Town and County Hall to The National School; Barnaderg, From the Community Centre to the National School; Williams­town, from the Parochial Hall to the National School.[/private]
