Seminar on migraine management

A FREE information seminar on Approaches to Migraine Management takes place on Saturday September 15 in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin from 10.30 am to 4 pm. The seminar is to highlight Migraine Action Week (September 10-16) and is run by the Migraine Association of Ireland. Confirmed speakers include: Ã¢€Â¢ Consultant Neurologist Martin Ruttledge (Beaumont Hospital, The Dublin Neurological Institute, The Hermitage) - Ã¢€ËœMigraine: An Overview' Ã¢€Â¢ Migraine Specialist Nurse Esther Tomkins - Ã¢€ËœNew Developments in Migraine Treatment' Ã¢€Â¢ Post-graduate Researcher with NUIM Marie Percival - Ã¢€ËœThe Psychology of Migraine: Cognitive Behavioural Approaches'. Throughout the day there will be a number of exhibition stands designed to offer topical and relevant information to health professionals and migraine sufferers alike. In addition the event will feature practical workshop demonstrations of yoga, stress management, and Buteyko breathing technique as tools to combat migraine.
