Will you climb for Concern?
CONCERN Worldwide is urging Tuam Herald readers to join them on a climb of Mweelrea Mountain in Mayo on Saturday, March 31 as the first of a series of climbs of the highest mountains in each province. On May 12, the action moves to Sliabh Donard in Co Down, followed by a trek up Leinster's tallest mountain, Lugnaquilla and finally to Carrauntoohil in Kerry. Registration fee for the climbs is €25, and climbers are asked for a minimum sponsorship of €50, and €100 for Carrauntoohil. More details are available from organiser Larry Healy on (087) 2182461 or on www.climb4concern.com.
