WHILE we’re still only in Spring and it’s a long way from All-Ireland finals, both the Galway footballers and hurlers take two 100 percent National League records to Pearse Stadium this Sunday.

The curtain raiser is the footballers' clash with Monaghan (12.30pm) and it's a game in which a victory for Galway will almost certainly guarantee a spot in the Divsion 1 final on April 1, an incredible achievement considering this is the county’s first season back in the top flight for seven years.
The footballers have been in tremendous form in 2018 thus far, and should be in buoyant mood following their victory over Kerry last weekend.
