Aghada from Cork provide semi-final opposition at Tuam Stadium on Sunday

THE LATEST chapter in Tuam-Cortoon ladies footballers’ all-conquering season will unfold on Sunday afternoon when the Galway and Connacht champions host Aghada from Cork with a place in the All-Ireland Junior Championship final at stake for the winners.

2017 has already delivered provincial and All-Ireland titles in 7s football, and Michael Hogan's side has been equally successful in the 15-a-side game with county and provincial honours added in recent weeks.
Tuam-Cortoon will have home advantage for what's sure to attract a large home crowd to Tuam Stadium.

Manager Michael Hogan, who is assisted by selectors Cathal Hynes and Caroline Maloney, boasts a clean bill of health aside from the aforementioned Finnegan, and is very much relishing the opportunity to play an All-Ireland semi-final on home soil.
"We're delighted to be playing the match at Tuam Stadium," said Hogan.
"We had brilliant support at the Connacht final in Ballintubber and I hope they'll be in out in force from Tuam, Cortoon and surrounding areas to get behind us again on Sunday afternoon.
