Daly and ryan star in north board success for mountbellewmoylough

THESE are heady days in Mountbellew-Moylough with their footballers all firmly in the mix for senior, junior and U-21 honours and their camogie team through to the County Intermediate final.
The strides being made at under-age level have been central to it all and on Saturday evening at Tuam Stadium the club’s minors retained the North Board Minor A Championship after a three-point win over a resilient Annaghdown.
Before last year they hadn’t won a North Board Minor A Championship since 1968. Now they’ve kept possession of the Jackie Coyle Memorial Cup and will be aiming for back-to-back County titles when they take on either Moycullen or Salthill-Knocknacarra from the West Board.
