Not even matt murphy can come to the rescue for galway gaa this year

GALWAY G.A.A. teams continue to be outclassed and outplayed on the big days.
At Croke Park on Sunday, high hopes of getting a badly needed boost from the county minor hurlers in their All-Ireland semi-final clash with Munster champions Limerick were quickly dashed.
Limerick led at half-time by nine points, 1-17 to 2-5, and the victory margin was a whopping 15 points.
In a hugely impressive double scores win (30 points to 15), Limerick got a combined tally of 1-18 from their starting half-forward line, including 0-13 (four points from play) by right half-forward and the Man of the Match, Ronan Lynch.
It was over as a contest by half-time, with Galway manager Mattie Murphy having already had to switch around all six Galway backs; they were all under intense pressure in that opening half, and it wasn’t really that any one of them was personally at fault for what was happening — it was simply that their opponents were hurling at a much higher level of skill and all-round excellence, individually and as a superb, well-drilled unit.
