A CALTRA man has toasted his 100th year in the company of his great grandson who arrived home from Australia for the family’s celebrations.

Bernard Mannion, known to his friends and family as Brian, from Killasolan, celebrated his 100th birthday on Friday at Kilkerrin Nursing Home, where he has been a resident for the past two years.
