GARDAI have confirmed investigations are ongoing after a man living in the North Galway area was confronted as he attempted to meet two teenage girls he had interacted with on social media and sent graphic content to.

The incident happened on Sunday morning between 10.30 and 11am at Ceannt train station in Galway when the man was confronted by members of a Facebook group which aims to track and catch sexual predators by using decoys on social media apps popular with teenagers.
