Librarian claims second historical literary award

TUAM librarian Ruairí Ó hAodha has been awarded a prestigious history award for an essay he has written on the Chiefs and Clans of Gaelic Ireland.
Ruairí, who is from Oranmore and lives in Ballyglunin, has been based in Tuam library for the past eight years. A keen historian, this is his second award in the Clans of Ireland competition that is open to graduates on any aspect of history.
