Three from Galway on Winning Streak

FOR possibly the first time ever, three players from the same county will take part in the National Lottery Winning Streak show on Saturday night.

One of them is a Menlough, Ballinasloe resident, Barbara Kelly Ruane.
Barbara, a civil servant originally from Ennis, Co. Clare, moved to Menlough with her husband Liam 13 years ago. Romance blossomed for Barbara and Liam at the Lisdoonvarna music festival in 2002.
They married 11 years ago and moved to Galway as Liam is in the army, based at Renmore Barracks. They have one daughter, Ava (14), and she and Liam are looking forward to the trip to Dublin for Winning Streak on Saturday.
48-year-old Barbara will have support from Galway and Clare with her in RTE next weekend including her mum and dad, Philomena and Noel, and three of her sisters, June, Martina and Christina. Her other sister Marrita will be watching from home.
In her spare time there is nothing Barbara loves more than getting out in nature and walking in the boreens and landscapes of the lovely village of Menlough with her two dogs, Lola and Coco.
The other lucky Galway players are Philip Ezergallis from Moycullen and Conor Warde from Newcastle, Galway.
