MAY Gibsey, whose front garden in Tuam transforms into a dazzling winter wonderland, has been asked whether she's just “cracked or has she an addiction”!

The impressive festive lighting display has only been switched for a number of days and already there have been traffic jams outside her front gate on the Galway Road as traffic slows to gaze in.

This is the first year that May has decided to use the display as a fundraiser. People can make donations to Tuam Cancer Care as a way of marking their appreciation for all of May's hard work.
“I was always hesitant about putting a box outside for donations to a charity as I thought it might not be very safe on such a busy route, but this is an online donation, which I hope people will do,” added May.

Online donations can be made via www.idonate.ie/MaysChristmasGarden.
