Tuam school children’s bright ideas at Valeo engineering workshop

A NEW initiative to encourage young children to adopt STEM subjects is being launched by Tuam based automotive firm Valeo.
A team of senior engineers hosted a workshop with primary school children from the town last week, where they explained the innovative work being developed and manufactured at the Dunmore Road facility.
Organised by the Home School Completion Service, in conjunction with Home School Liaison officers at the town’s three primary schools, the event featured a video presentation showcasing the work being done by engineers in the town to develop next generation cars.
