Pay row is holding up rural scheme jobs in Galway

By Mark Walsh

UP to 29 Rural Social Scheme jobs in Galway East will not be filled until supervisors get a rise in pay.
Eight supervisors were catering for 156 places on the RSS up until January of this year, when Minister for Social Protection Leo Varadkar announced there would be a further 33 places given to Galway East.
