Tuam milliner shortlisted for fashion award

A TUAM milliner has been shortlisted for a prestigious fashion award.
Michelle Kearns, who has her workshop and showroom at Vicar Street, is one of four milliners in the running in the Millinery category at the Irish Fashion Innovation Awards taking place in Galway.
Also shortlisted in the Accessories category is handweaver Deirdre Duffy from Wild Cocoon in Claremorris.
Michelle and Deirdre are finalising their pieces which will be presented to the judges and showcased at the awards on March 30 in the Radisson Blu Hotel.
