Pub owners to brew their own beer

A DUNMORE publican is leading the way for small pubs across the country to establish their own micro breweries and pull pints of their own craft beer to sell across the counter.
The concept is being supported by the Vintners’ Federation of Ireland and aims to be a way for pubs in small towns and villages to be able to offer something extra to their punters.
Publican Joe Sheridan who runs Walsh’s Pub in Dunmore doesn’t see the idea as a lifeline for the pub trade but firmly believes it is a way of boosting trade and attracting more customers.
