Royals at end of galway rainbow

The rainbow that arched across the sky over Clonboo shortly after 7 am yesterday (Tuesday) seemed to end somewhere in Salthill or perhaps at NUI Galway where the royal couple Prince Charles and Camilla were starting their Irish visit.
Three hours later a leaden sky, from which the rainbow had long since disappeared, threatened to unleash a downpour at any moment on top of the the press who were corralled into two groups behind red tapes at the top of the steps opposite The Quadrangle building.
