Music trip of a lifetime for local student paul on the caribbean

IT’S a long way from playing music at Dunmore Community School to doing so on a cruise liner in the Bahamas, but former student Paul Clesham, who is now studying music at UCC, did so last week.
And among those dancing to his music was Daniel O’Donnell, who was top of the bill entertaining over 2,000 people on the luxury liner.
Paul (21) says it was the trip of a lifetime and he was very excited when asked to play with The Deenagh Ceilí Band from Kerry on the cruise.
“Daniel O’Donnell was out on the floor doing set dancing to our music when we were playing at one show and again during the finals of the set dancing competition on board.
