Grateful family raise funds for temple street hospital

A FAMILY in Dunmore who have benefitted directly from the support and service of Temple Street Children’s Hospital have been trying to give something back by fundraising for the hospital.
Life has improved dramatically for now five-year-old Tommie Donelon from Baunogues, Dunmore ever since he was diagnosed with a very mild form of spina bifida two years ago.

Mum Mary Mullin and dad Alan Donelon spent the early years of Tommie’s life in and out of the Emergency Department as he kept getting infections in a mark on his back that he was born with.
Despite numerous visits to the hospital and doctors, a firm diagnosis wasn’t forthcoming until Tommie was referred to Temple Street.

To show their gratitude to Temple Street, Mary has fundraised for the hospital over the past two years. She will be holding a special Hallowe’en Bingo in the Hall in Dunmore Community School this Sunday, November 2 at 3 pm where there will be great prizes and plenty of fun.
