Milltown is galways top tidy town

MILLTOWN is officially Co Galway's Tidiest Town. The North Galway town was announced as the County Winner at the Tidy Town Awards in Dublin today.

The points are extremely tight among the top three towns in Co Galway. There was just a point between Abbey (Loughrea), who were last year's winners, and Milltown with Milltown taking the title on 307 points.

Monivea has come in third place with an overall mark of 304.

Judges have given huge praise to Milltown's efforts and said “the transformation of Milltown over the years is a wonderful legacy”.
