Plenty of acts to get people’s toes tapping at Tuam Trad Fest

THE seventh year of the Tuam Trad Festival will be officially kick-started by the Kings of Connaught on Friday September 15.

The five-piece ballad group, all young men from the Mountbellew-Moylough area, will play in the Ard Rí House Hotel at 9pm.
The night after on Saturday September 16, it will be the turn of the Shaskeen Céilí Band to entertain traditional music fans when they take the stage in the Ard Rí. The band will play for the festival's official céilí, on the same night that the camera crew from the ‘Irish at Home and Abroad' TV programme will be in Tuam.
