GALWAY’S hopes of claiming a national talent contest rest with Corrandulla’s newest celebrity pet, Myko.

The three-year-old Jack Russell has made it to the finals of the Nose of Tralee competition, beating off competition from hundreds of hounds in Galway in recent weeks.
The cheerful canine was adopted by his owner Tracy Kirby after she fostered him from the Madra rescue centre in Carna earlier this year.
Tracy is now hoping he can charm his way to the title of Nose of Tralee, which will be awarded at the end of the month.
